Hi chaps. My A3 has an original Symphony double DIN headunit with BOSE set-up;

However, it's got a tape deck, which I don't need, and has seen the effects of the sun with the finish on the buttons starting to blister a bit which doesn't look so nice.

Anyhow, I'm looking to upgrade to a later OEM unit. Seen a few on ebay, such as later Symphony, Chorus, Concert etc., but unsure of the differences. My requirements are to ditch the tape deck and be able to play mp3, through both the CD player and connecting an external player, and be compatible with the BOSE speakers.

Any info and tips appreciated. Thanks :)

You can pop in an A3 symphony II+ or III whichever you want to call it, it will hold 6 CD's and play Mp3 disks. But you would need some adaptors for the radio cables to make it work correctly.
