A3 double din to aftermarket single din

In my opinion and as it seems most others on the forum, most users here keep their HU OEM and standard however if they do want a upgrade they would probably go for the RNSE. If your thinking of a aftermarket HU in order to upgrade your speakers/sub and/or add a aftermarket amplifier; you could still do so by using your standard symphony 2 > See 'AndyMac' the expert in this. (There are multiple threads from AndyMac and others about this topic > Here)

In my opinion I love the OEM look on the dash no matter which HU you have, keep it as it is.
