TV unlocking for Sat Nav

Has anyone got any experience of getting their TV function unlocked?
Audi charge £375 for the TV tuner on top of the sat nat and I wonder if the kit is already in place just not activated. There are a couple of companies out there that claim can unlock this facility. Any advise or comments would be welcomed.

What do you meany by unlocked.

The TV tuner is either there or it isn't. Its a module not part of the Nav unit and also all your antennas and amps have to be TV compatible when the car is built. So thats where the charge comes from.
