2004 A3 symphony to 2008 symphony

Hi guys,

Just bought an 2004 a3 sport tdi and I'm wondering i can upgrade the current symphony in it (with tape player) to the newer style ones found in the 2008 on cars? has anyone done this? cab with RNSE as i use my phone for nav.

The radio antenna system is different on late 06 onwards DD radios & you may experience bad reception, the cost of the antenna fix is hundreds, so maybe wise to consider the mk1 rns-e as it shares the same antenna system, but yes newer radio is possible, but has it costs & pitfalls itself mate.

I have mk1 rns & the concert newer radio for sale if interested.
