No sound?!

Got into my A3 8P this morning, turned it on, waited a few seconds for the memory cards to load, they loaded but with no sound?

Turned the car off and on again to no avail, radio and cd player have no sound either?!

It's the Audi RSN-E system.

Anybody experienced this before? Mine has the Bose system so I'm wondering whether its a loose wire? Fuse? Knackered amp?

Try resetting it first

Hold RADIO and SETUP down until the screen blanks and the RNS-E reboots.

Thanks I'll try that tomorrow.

Got in my car before again, started it up. Firstly the speakers popped once really loud then a high pitched wurring(sp) sound, turned the car off and took the key out and it still sounded for another 40-50 seconds then stopped. Started the car again, drove it 2 miles home and the stereo didn't make a sound?!

Definately sounds like the Bose amp is ****** - plenty on ebay for around £50-60
