can anybody recommend some software to compile mp3 cds other than nero etc, something so i can get the software to lable tracks better and create layouts

Hi Will. I use Lame, VBR min 128, max 320, full quality (q 0) stereo.
I don't see any point in skimping, since I can still fit 100+ songs on a CD at that quality /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

It's V0.9 Beta 4 I'm using and IIRC it comes with a the most recent version of LAME. All free /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
It can take a while to rip a damaged disc, but it's very good at what it does.
