concert II (mp3 version) link with Phatnoise

will this work? i've brought a cable on ebay. and i had a Phatnoise with my last car (VW Polo) but this morning it don't seem to work. the cable fits to the back of the headunit. put earth cable many different places aswell.

has anyone else done this that could tell me of it does work and where you got your cable from? (Ebay or Audi dealer parts)

Is the firmware the same between Audi/VW models? The CD changer interface is still the same in the Audi/VW since 2000, so no changes there. But I thought that there were different firmwares for phatnoise between brands.
