Concert code advice

Hello!

I have just bought a replacement concert stereo for my b5 due to the dreaded volume problem but it has not come with a code. The regular decoding web sites are not able to decode the Audi concerts and I've read that I have to go to the main dealer for them to decode £££££. Does anyone have any advice on where else I could get the code, I am sure there have been others in my predicament!

There are places you can send them off to who read the data of the eprom and tell you the code.... costs about £25

The main dealer won't help you unless you have the V5 for the car it came out of, unless you know the right people of course
