Thread: CONCERT GEN2 GEN2+.

How do you tell the difference ? because my local audi dealer is selling off some ipod iphone connecters but there is two diffrent models
pre wk 45 o6 gen2.
post wk 45 06 gen2+
also thrown into the mix is my H/U is a retro fit (not sure if it's gen2 or gen2+) in an 05 b7 avant,will either of the kits work ?.

Gen II+ came about in 2007, differences are:

- Chrome Knobs
- Double DIN (without cassette)

Only different, I think, between the Concert and Symphony II+ is that the Symphony has the 6-CD Changer built into the head unit.

I 've been told the gen11 concert is single disc mp3 compatible and the gen11+ is 6 disc mp3 compatible can any confirm or deny. ?

Incorrect as far as I know mate.

Concert II+ - Single CD with MP3
Symphony II+ - Built-in-6CD Changer (don't think has MP3 support though I may be wrong)

What they mean is the GEN II is ISO connectors and the GEN II+ is Quadlock connectors, so you need to gte the right one for your stereo.
