Audi Handsfree + Alpine IVA-D300------HELP!!!!!!!!

Hey everyone,

Im finally upgrading my head unit to the one above and i was wondering. I have the audi handsfree kit that links quite nicley with the bose setup. Can this be modifyed to work with the alpine??? I know the alpine has a phone mute option i think so surley it can be adapted to work with it.


Any and all help would go a long way here!!

Hi,

I think the audi kit plugs into the back of the symphony head units through a mini iso!
It should be possible to establish which are the speaker inputs and which is the mute lead ( connect the mute to the pink/ black on the alpine ), u will need an adapter cable to put it back through the front speakers again. Or if you are amping the front spaekers you will need a little phone speaker.
Hope that is of some help, the wiring diagram is often on the top of the headunit so that may also give you a clue,
