Thread: Newbie..but quick question about Symphony and Ipod..

Hi..

I haven't got my car yet (sometime in oct/nov..61plate) and im new to all this. Just wanted to know what symphony radio would i have on my car?whats the difference between I, II or III? .Im going to get with the front 6cd with bose system..

And another thing, would my Ipod Nano with multi Touch work?im kind of getting worried if it doesn't... hmmmm..

Well you haven't said which car your getting

A3/TT comes with symphony II+
A4/A5/Q5 comes with radio low II, also known as Symphony.

Oh sorry...im getting an A3 Sportsback Sline..

Well there you go, symphony II+ with an Aux port near the armrest would be my guess, also it may have an Ipod interface in the glovebox, have you checked the spec?

If it doesn't then get a Dension gateway 100 CAN fitted.

thankx for your help,i did check the specs..will be having the ipod interface in the glovebox but im just wonderin about the compatibiliy of my ipod,as its not listed on the audi website :S .i guess il find out when ive actually got the car
