Thread: Installing Alpine CDE-9850 Ri

Hi all
Just bought a 98 1.8 Avant se and didn't check the volume on the stereo,
I have an Alpine CDE-9850 Ri does any one know which leads I need ?
will I still get a display on the DIS ?
any help greatly appreciated

You'll need a fascia adapter (to fill the gaps either side of the HU, an antenna amp adapter and either the PC9-404 rear amp adapter or just some speaker cable. The amp adapter feeds the rear RCA's from the Alpine to the rear amp, but you will have 2 x 50w going to the fronts from the Alpine and a puny 2 x 20w going to the rears from the Nokia rear amp. Far better (if you can be arsed) to simply rewire the rears directly to the Alpine
