Question Xcarlink mic swap for OEM BT mic

I've just installed an Xcarlink with the bluetooth module which has a mic which i've ran up to the top of the A pillar. The mic is a bit big and I was wondering if it would be possible to wire in the OEM mic to the Xcarlink by simply snipping off the Xcarlink mic and joining the mic wires from the OEM mic? Then route it to the centre light for a more OEM look.

I'm wondering if i'll have any impedance related problems with changing the two mics. Any ideas?

I don't think it will work. The audi has some noise cancellation electronics behind the condensor unit and there will not work with 3rd party kit. Why not just take the casing off the xcarlink stuff and fit the condensor into the mic space.

Yeah I guess I could do that. Would just need to extend the cable in order to reach.
