Thread: A3 glovebox OEM Ipod interface removal

Hi,

Does anyone know how to remove the ipod interface from an A3/S3 glovebox? I want to replace mine with a 6-cd changer. Is it a remove the glovebox job?

At the very least. I tried to remove the dock/cradle from a clients car and gave up. You can unplug the wiring to install a changer just by removing the HU, but this a whole lot easier with the glovebox out, which is a 5 min job.

That's good. Removing the glovebox on the mk4 Golf was a nightmare.
