ICE help can be given

I want loads of bass that will shake my car to pieces and impress the local boys.

What do you suggest?

Are SPLX or Vibe any good?
 
Hi. Any clues as to how to remove the rear panel on a 3-door A3? I'm stripping out the crappy Concert system completely and putting in new speakers all round, so need to get to them! Got info on the fronts, just need the rear. And any helpful hints would be gratefully received too!
 
err, not sure what you mean, but the car is a 99/V 1.8T Quattro.
 
lol no problem..

the car u have is a (8L) version.

i know with the new 8P A3 you have to take out all the boot surround and back seats etc to then take out the rear cards to get to the speakers...

but unsure with the car you have..... speak to AndyMac on that one.
 
Thanks for your help anyway (at least now I know the difference between 8L and 8P). Who/how/where is AndMac? As I'm sure you may already have guessed, I've just discovered this site... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif
 
Just make sure you have a hotglue gun at the ready. It's really not that bad just a bit worrying the first time you do it. Just make sure you remove the back seat base, fold the back down and open the window and prise up the window rubber.
