Hi there I have recently bought an 56 plate s3 and I dont no if it has the boss system , how can I find out as the seller said it is, but just wanted to check, spoke to Audi today, but they weren't that helpful on the subject. So wondered if I could have a look myself, as the grills are plain. Thanks.

Just fade the speakers to front and if you lose the subwoofer then you have non Bose, if some sub is still pumping out then you have Bose, as the sub on Bose runs off one front channel and one rear. The normal sub just runs off the rears.
The HU is supposed to say Bose when you turn it on, but this is just a VCDS setting and purely cosmetic so means nothing.
