do the audi cd players / changers play CDR discs?

does the audi at least play CDR or should i keep my sony to fit into the audi

I'm having a problem playing cdr's in my audi changer. I get a skip every 10 or so seconds.
I'm using Memorex 80min cdrs. What brand of disc do you guys use?

most cd changers will play cd c discs but youll find they jam up the mech s cdr s are slightly fatter than normal cds this causes problems

As Audi changers are old technology you need to burn the CD-R's at a slower speed and make sure you use Audio CD-R's of good quality. Never had a jamming problem on mine and I use them all the time.

Can I also just ask if anyone out there burns audio cds from mp3 and wma files?
Do you usually convert the files first, or just let the burning software (ie Nero) do it all for you?
I think this may be the problem for me, as other CDRs people have burnt for me, work in my cd changer. Still abit baffled.

Any more suggestions from anyone?

if you burn a cdr from mp3`s then make sure you stick to 8 or 12 speed burn (using nero) or they might cause you problems

they work fine in mine, mind you its a panasonic changer with stock headunit
