Hi there, can anyone point me in the right direction to change my head unit successfully please?

Ive a retro standard tape unit (audi) & am wanting to fit something more 2010, but am unsure what connectors ill need (power/speakers/arial) and how best to remove the stereo (which release key etc.)

Any help greatly appreciated, Im completely in the dark & dont want to start guessing at it (eek)

Many thanks in advance, Jake

You'll need:
Rear amp adapter - RCA input (this one works with Bose or non Bose)
http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/audi-active-wiring-adaptor.html
Antenna amp adapter

Fascia Adapter

HU removal keys
http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/celsus-vw-audi-radio-release-keys.html

When removing the HU insert the keys with the angled sides pointing towards each other. DO NOT pull the HU out using the keys as this can damage the spring clips and your HU will be jammed in the dash. With the keys inserted, remove the glovebox and push the HU from behind

Hi Andy,

Thats an absolute godsend, thank you mate!

Will check the links & see how I get on, cheers for the tips on removal too - I could see myself doing that too :)

Many thanks, Jake
