Hi,

I have just purchased a 2004 A3 2.0TDI which has an after market radio installed. It's a JVC KD-G541. However the radio doesnt seem to be connected to the steering wheel controls.

Is it just a case of buying a generic adapter to link the 2 or would a specialist module be needed?

Only certain HU's have an adapter available.

cheers AndyMac, is there anyway for me to tell if the adapter in your link will work with my Head Unit?

Does your JVC have a hardwired steering wheel connection?

not to sure tbh i've only bought the car and the radio was already installed. Will need to investigate :s
