Thread: APR remap 3.2

I'm looking into the APR map for my 3.2, mainly to overcome a flat spot/hesitation that may or may not be software related. I know the gains are minimal compared to turbocharged cars, but what are the expectations and do you have any before and after print outs?.
I also notice now the software comes fully loaded. Is that everything or do you have to add the extra maps i.e. 95 ron program and valet mode etc.
Lastly, as a previous APR customer, any chance of a discount

Unfortunately we don't have any before and after dyno graphs for the 3.2 as of yet.
From what we've seen previously with the R32's in particular it tends to give between 6-10bhp.

We can't do any discounting at all on APR Maps I am afraid. We are currently offering all the programs for the price of one program however. As long as your car has cruise control fitted the options will not be an issue.

There is a possibility that there may be a trial available if you wanted to try before you buy, However to be 100% certain we would need your ECU Number and Software revision code.

Hi Al, I actually called in on Saturday for the trial but for some reason the server was down and you couldn't download the it. You should have my ECU details there as a print out was done.
I was supposed to get a call back today to see what the issue was but never got one, so can you give someone a nudge (was it Dean) so I can call back in again!
No worries about the discount, if you don't ask, you don't get!!

Dean isn't in today, But I'll have a look for you and see if there is one available.
The server seemed to be back up and running by 3pm on the Saturday.

Just checked out your ECU code.

Unfortunately there isn't a map available for yours just yet. However we would be interested in doing a Code Extraction on the car so we could send it off to APR In the states if you would be happy to leave the car with us for a few hours?

I don't mind hanging about for a while on a Saturday if that helps as I'm not local enough to leave it.

Also I'm looking at lowering the car, can you give me a price to supply either H&R springs or Weitec coilovers as I'm not sure in which direction to go (apart from down lol!)

Thanks for that Dean, but do you actually have a map for the A3 as that is the R32?. I've already been over for the trial but was unable to load it up!
