Just wanted to get a quote on a service and cambelt change.

2004 A3 2.0 TDi 140

Current mileage 72k

Last service 58k

Also could you possibly list what is included in the service and cambelt change e.g. waterpump etc.

Hi there,

Timing belt service including the Waterpump on your 2.0TDI is £315 + VAT.

This is: Timing belt, Tensioner, Idler and Water pump.

Hi with regards the service , that Al missed off
I gather it is on variable service?
The variable service would be £210 + VAT
This would include oil and oil filter replacement , air filter , fuel filter , lights and levels , full check over of the car , full diagnostic check and then the hinges lubed
Here we change the air filter and the fuel filter every 20k miles
As you are on long life service , the next service that you would need would take you up to approx 90k miles
We are at the moment doing oil flushes too for £9.99 + VAT and that is good as it removes all the gunk and sludge in the engine , and that helps keep the oil cleaner

ooh Sorry about that. I'm having a little trouble with my eyes recently.

So the total price I have to pay for everything including the service, cambelt change and oil flush would be around £630?

£615.24 is what I get it to and that includes the VAT too

I see. Thanks very much, I still got a few more places to check. A lot better than Leeds Audi who quoted me £997 +VAT AND doesn't include waterpump!

That is a high quote yes , but then if I can help with anything , please feel free to give me a shout back
We try to replace the water pump with the metal impell`d one where ever possible too
