Thread: New clutch needed

Hello,
I have a 2004 s4 which was serviced, and had a miltek exhaust installed by you about 6 months ago.
My clutch is on its way out now and will need replacing in the near future.
It still has some life left in it but slips when i try and launch it!
I would like to get the new one installed by you lot as i was very happy with the service provided last time my car was in.
Does the transmission oil get changed when you do the clutch? If not a price for this would be appreciated.
I realise the clutch wont be cheap, so would like to know a price to work out how much i need to save over the next few months.
Its a manual 2004 s4, and it will prob need an small service (had everything possible done last time) by the time the clutch has completely gone, so a price for that would also be helpful.
Would also like a price for a brake fluid change

Are you looking at a standard clutch for you car?

depends on the price compared to an uprated one really tbh.
a price for both standard and uprated would good so i can make a decision.

I have had a chat with Sachs , and unfortunately they do not do anything with your car
But I have had a word with helix , not at the moment , but then they have one in development , and they say it looks like it could be ready in July time :D
So there is something in the pipeline
Just hope that yours keeps hold until July time , that is when we will be able to get some more info
What I will do is make a note in my diary to chase them up nearer the time
