i have a 1998 1.8t A3 and was just wondering how much you guys charge for a Cambelt and waterpump change?
Also how much is a full service and what exactly does it consist of?

Hi Mate
The cam belt , with tensioner and uprated metal impella`d water pump is £295.00 + VAT (346.63 all in)
The full service is £180.00 + VAT (£211.50 all in)
That includes
Oil , Oil filter , Air filter , Fuel filter , Spark plugs , Lights , levels , full check over for the car and a full diagnostic check

roughly how long would it take to complete the above work?

Also how fars the trafford from you as i might drop the car off and do a bit of shopping.....

It should be about 6 hours ish for that job
Trafford centre is about 5 miles away from us
We can also provide courtesy cars free of charge for you while your car is being done

Not that keen on shopping sarah .... But my wife is...
Also need to book in at the apple shop for repairs on a couple of items....

Sounds like a good price to me as the parts for the cambelt change come to about 100 quid and its a real pain in the ass to do (have done it)

Thought that ....
Only heard very good things about awesome as well. I have never used there workshop but have been in the shop to buy some badges and a couple of Vr thermostats and the service was brilliant!
Will be calling and booking the car in....

Oh one more thing sarah any discount if i brought both cars (A3 1.8t and Gofl mk4 1.8t) ??

Cant do anything about the shopping thing though but we could get it done asap then you wont be shopping too long hopefully
I am afraid that we cannot discount the pricings on the cam belt services as we have reduced the prices not that long ago , sorry
