I am trying to fit a Bluetooth module (8P0 862 335 S) from an A3 into a MY2010 A4 with Concert radio. The bluetooth module is coded 0001222. I have updated the CAN installation list and activated Telephone monitoring via CAN in Address 56 - Radio, Byte 3.
My problem is when I search for the device using both a HTC TP2 and Nokia E71. First try the HTC found it but after entering the pass key it showed device is not discoverable. Now both just show No devices found. :-( When I remove the module and plug it into my S3 both phones pick it up instantly.
Does this unit/module work in a B8 non-MMI A4? Is there any coding I can look at?
