DAB retro fit

I've had my new S line executive A4 Avant for a month now and wish I had ordered DAB.
Is is possible to retro fit DAB and if so, how much is it likely to cost? Is it a big job?

Did you order the car with 3G MMI (Navigation)? if not then you are looking at a major job which will be way into 4 figures. If you have 3G MMI then you would need to replace the control head as DAB is now part of the control head unlike the older 2G MMi systems. To replace the control head is possible but would cost around £900 + would require a dealer to remove component protection (if they will do it).

Thanks for the information. I did not order the 3G MMI as this was an expensive option.

The cost of installing DAB now is also too high!

Not having DAB is not stopping me enjoying the car, though!
