how do you get your rear lights to flash like that?

The flickering is just caused by LEDs. I didn't realise this effect until I tried to take a picture of mine and on the LCD you could see the same. LEDs are like TVs and refresh/pulse every 50Hz (or higher).

It wasn't a problem road is very wide

after my friend turnes off camera I've done 180 spin
