hi guys! new to the forum as well as b8 im guna get my 2.0tid 143 soon n i would like to know is bluefin safe to use n will that detect by audi n cause warranty problem? and can i reset to original anytime i want? thanks a lot

Hi,

ALL remaps are detectable and even if you swap back the max boot pressure is still recorded hence still detectable.

Warranty is only affected if it causes a malfunction.....but it gets grey with regards who proves it and who picks up the costs to do so.

If you do it then don't forget to inform your insurance company.

Would you pay more or less for a chipped car? Most people won't buy modded cars .... and then mod it themselves. Crazy but true. But then again would you sell it as remapped?

Very very fews cars ever had issues with remaps that causes warranty issues although occasionally it can happen. If you're after an absolute guarantee then don't mod. You have to accept the risk if you do.
