Morning all!

I don't know if any of you can remember, but last year I was involved in a crunch where a young lady was reversing off her drive into a main road (😱), into the side of my car as I was driving.

Anyway I got my car repaired by an Audi dealer costing insurers £8.5k!

I then pressed for diminishing value of my car. My solicitor was having none of it but tried anyway. In the end I got £650 back which I thought wasn't too bad but could have been better.

I then traded the car in a month ago for another a4 and they still gave me strong money for my previous a4 as it was repaired at Audi (even though it was never the same)

Why bother telling them it had been repaired? Virtually all approved used Audis on the forecourt will have had paint and they are sold at full retail.
