I think you need to use the pause button when you're doing your logs lol so many numbers... But i tried finding the best set of data in amongst the numbers to make a graph of your 'actual air mass in (g/s) on the y axis compared to you 'engine speed in (rpm) on the x axis'

Left it idling for a while after cleaning everything I could, took it out for a hard drive, and it seemed to be a bit better at idling. Think I've probably spent more in fuel trying to find the problem than it would have been to replace the maff!!!!

Can you plug VCDS in and go to 01- Engine, Adv. Measuring Values, then go to 'Particle Filter' and there will be like 5 options - Soot load calculated and measure, Oil ash volume etc. Take these measurements with or without the engine on as long as it's up to temp (roughly).

Before replacing your MAF just go and do one more log of it to be sure. Log the same two parameters again and click the 'turbo' button to increase the logging/sample rate, then with the engine up to temp and everything, go for a 3rd gear, WOT from 1500 rpm to 4000 rpm. That's all.
