Hi All,

I'm Ben and i'd like to introduce you to my Audi A4 Avant 174bhp 2.0TDI Black Edition:

When I first got it, I did some subtle modifications like de-badging the rear (and adding roof bars before a biking trip)

And matt black Audi Rings on the front:

Now i've just recently had the car lowered on Eibach Springs and added Raywell JRR's in Gunmetal Grey

Interested to know what you guys think? Was thinking about changing the front grill to an Audi RS4 type but not so sure?

Hi mate, I've just bought a B8 Avant Black Edition too. Can I ask where you got the wheels from?

Welcome to the forum, beautiful car, which springs have you used pal

That's banging matey. Well done for trying to improve on near perfection, and you managed it. Respect!

I'm liking this alot.

As before, wheel sizes, offset, and tyre info ?

And springs, Sportline or Pro ?

Also what's the ride quality like ?

Very nice, as said already the wheels are awesome! :)

Wow! Thank you for all the kind compliments guys, overwhelmed!

The wheels are Raywell - Raywell - Specialists in Audi Alloy Wheels and Bespoke Interiors

They're called 'JRR' and are 20x9" with an offset of ET40. They're made specifically for Audi vehicles - I love them! I tried the Hyper Silver on too which looked great, but just loved the gunmetal to go with my black edition.
Tyres are 255/30/20 Toyo T1Rs.
I'm unsure of the springs as did a deal with the guys at Raywell. But think they may be Sportlines? Don't quote me though!
As for the ride it's been pretty much the same as before. But I've only been running to work and back, test comes this summer when I'm off to Morzine with the bikes again!
Again, thanks for all the kind words

You've turned a good-looking car into a great-looking car! Nice job!

Would deffo go for the RS4 grill.

From what I've come across yes, Sportline are red and Pro are Black.

Nice mate!

20s look great on the car, not seen many A4s with 20" rims
Have been contemplating 20" for my future arrival!
I would be interested to get your take on the drive / handling post Morzine trip?

Cheers
Keef

Thanks again for all the compliments, you guys are too kind

Yeah of course i'll report back on the drive / handling when i've given her a good blast to Morzine!

Nice car mate,

I actually love the stock rims you had, if you wish to sell them let me know

Thanks again guys :)

X_Splinter - I'm going to keep the Rotors for the moment as spares. But thanks for the offer!

Thought i'd share this pretty cool night shot we took the other night:

BenAvant, What is the quality of the wheels 'close up' ?

Many non oem wheels i've seen hide their flaws quite well in pictures, it's not until you see them in the flesh that you then notice paint flaws, which is acceptable if they cost around £500 a set - you get what you pay for.

I'm interested in the Raywell's, but they would have to be flawless quality like Audi OEM's

Are they as good in quality as your oem Rotors?

Cheers :)

That's gorgeous, identical car to mine stock but with the addition of the wheels it looks amazing, can't help thinking the paintwork looks darker once you put the new rims on

Cyprio, the quality is excellent. I wouldn't have spent the money I have done unless they were perfect. Luckily I live local to Raywell so I got to check the quality before purchasing. I can snap some up close pictures if you want me to send some your way

Drew Baby - thanks mate :)

Thanks Ben

When you get a moment, if you can snap a few close-ups that would be great!

Much appreciated! :)

Ben What did you pay for these ?

Hi Ben, Amazing looking car, I live in Lincoln, so not far from Raywell, their just across the Humber if my geography is correct.

Could I ask what you paid including tires & what deal you got on springs?

Thanks in advance, Gareth.

Cheers Zafi, I saw that price on eBay, was interested in what he paid for tires & the springs (as a deal).

If they had these in 19"s I'd be snapping them up.

Those 20"s look really good, but I know I would end up driving over a pothole and ruining one or two.

I remember the saga of damaged rims on the B7 RS4 and Audi's response was the rims are designed to dent to save damaging the suspension!

I think it's brave putting on non-OEM alloys as most cheapen the look of the car, but these look great! Well done! 😎

Totally agree, they look awesome, I'm so tempted by these, a lot of £££ though!
