Hi ,

could anyone tell me if the b8 Avant has the 'rail system' as standard within the boot ?

i meant to order the load fixing system when I ordered the car and I would quite like to pick up the telescopic fixings pre-owned instead ....... Just want to make sure the rails come as standard , and not part of the overall load fixing system !

any help much appreciated.

Mine doesn't have them, pretty sure it's a factory fit option only, they do have plenty of bungey hooks though so it's east to secure a load. I often use a motorcycle cargo net.

I also got the hooks on each corner, and a net which came as standard.

Standard fitment has no "rails" it is part of the optional load fixing system.

I ordered it as a factory option but I saw a thread years ago where someone said it was an easy retro fit.
