Hi All,

I have got a groaning sound coming from the steering when parking or turning at low speed.

Any thoughts on what maybe causing this.

Could be a dry bearing at the top of the strut. Had a similar noise on a VW California and the bearing was replaced and it was fine.

Yours a 2008?.......is it definately steering or is the noise emanating from the wheel area?

It's a 2.0 tdi avant 143 and its a 2008 model.

Check power steering fluid. When mine did this a top up sorted it
