led lightstrip removal on a4 door mirror

Door card off, you may be able to replace just the LEd as the strip is apart of the door handle.

Speak to Audi and see what they will supply.

Door card off ? Really?

If it's like most modern vag cars it will be mirror cover off which will revel some screws to which the light will come off
 
Remove the rear Mirror cover , and there's two little screws holing the Indicator strip in , don't loose them Audi will charge u for new, it's About £14 for the new Indicator plus Vat ontop .....There is two little wires they just pull out and the reverse for Fitting....
 
sorry, mis read. i though it was the ambient strip in the door card.

you sure its £14+vat, i remember paying £27 including VAT for one a year back.

Got my Wing mirror ripped of by someone who needed it more than me just over a Month ago and the Strip was £14 plus vat on the S4 . £129 plus Vat for the Arm and motor and wiring and £220 plus Vat for the Chrome cover....
 
audi upgrades
Not much I could after it happened, Parts guy at Audi reckons it was an Audi driver after the Chrome cover due to the replacement cost....There was no other damage to the door and the Wires were cut after Breaking it off.... :(
 
The retail price for the mirror led indicator strip is currently £29.40.
