Hi first time poster i have a audi a4 b7 now and was going to upgrade to the audi a4 b8 3.0 tdi quattro 60k miles full service history for around 13k please could i have peoples views on the b8 3.0tdi quattro good points amd bad points. Is it really bad on fuel is it quick enough cheers

Our 2010 S-tronic is rated at 179g/km and is £220/year. The very early tiptronic ones have higher CO2 figure (189).
Its a very competent vehicle. Depending on your driving style its possible to get 40+ on motorway cruises and 30 around town. Our average over the last 2+ years is about 39mpg. Normally fill up at about 450 miles. The DSG box is very smooth and its effortlessly quick as it has so much torque.
We swapped from a B7 3.0 tdi and its much more refined ride etc but also quite a bit bigger.
Apart from tyres and an engine mount replaced under warranty nothing has gone wrong with ours, now at 45k miles.
