I've recently bought a new A4 Avant 3.0TDI Quattro S-Tronic S-Line Black Edition with amongst other options, drive select & damper control.
The manual states that sport mode is not selectable via the selector lever, only by using the drive mode button/MMI.
Unless I'm doing something wrong, I appear to be able to toggle between âDâ and âSâ mode by pulling the selector lever down beyond the âD/Sâ position. Iâm ashamed to say I only discovered this by accident this week.
The crazy thing is, since using this method, my adjustable suspension seems to feel like itâs been set firmer in âautoâ than it was, i.e. like its set to âdynamicâ (feeling every road imperfection).
Have I upset something by using an undocumented method to select sport mode?
