Thanks for that mate. I appreciate the offer. I know that Highland Audi can deliver to me. I was wondering what the code is for them?

Can anybody do me a massive favour please, and find out the price from Audi for me?

It would be greatly appreciated. I'm abroad with work so can't do it myself.

So I've finally got my 19" Black Edition alloys fitted.
Here's what it looked like before:

Been passively trying to sell my 19" rotors to get some other wheels if you're interested? Would come without tyres and if you fancy them just make me an offer. ;)

haha only 2 problems:

1) I'm still in the process of looking for an Audi (got my eye on an S-line with the standard 18" alloys but waiting for it to drop in price)
2) You're all the way up north, I'm all the way down south (London)

Haha, no worries. :)

There's a good company up here that specialise in shipping car parts for a really good price so that's not a problem. Just let me know if you fancy them at some point or whatever. :)

Cars looking well ScottishS3 what do you think to the ride changing from 18s to 19s I haven't fitted mine yet but I'm hoping it's not too drastic lol they have 215/35s on 9j too so I'm expecting it to be a bit rougher.

I recently went the other way, from 255/35x19 to 245/40x18 and the difference is considerable, the ride quality is so much improved, I hardly ever notice the poor road surfaces anymore, I'm even running highr pressures in the winter 18's.

It might be such a difference because of my soft winter rubber?, I'll be putting the 19's back on for summer and "yes" it will firm things up again, but it looks so much better on 19's.

TBH, the 19's are not a great deal harder than the 18" shod Skoda I came from, your 215's might be another story altogether though?????

Yeah that what I'm thinking too, but as you say 19s look so much better and I am willing to sacrifice the ride for the rite look lol I will be fitting slightly bigger tyres before long maybe 225/35 not that that will do much but I suppose its better than nothing...

Does anybody know the exact centre bore size of the B8 wheel please I know it should be 66.6 but is that exact, as I have also heard it is 66.56 if anybody has a spare set of wheels and some digital vernier callipers and they were willing to measure them that would be a really big help as my wheels are going in today for them boring out and without taking a wheel off my car I am unsure to the exact measurement??? Would be a really big help.

Well I thought that there would have been a technical guru on here who would have know this off top of there head lol is there really nobody who can tell me the exact measurement of the centre bore on the wheel???

Tell me about it lol thanks for that but I'm unsure now as some say 66.6 some say 66.56 and that site says 66.5 so which one do I go with :/ think I may be as well taking one of my wheels off and measuring for myself...

I wonder if the tolerance for machining is 0.1mm? That would explain it a bit? Just a thought, probably wrong! Haha.

Yeah your probably rite, what would you suggest to do then have them machined to 66.5 or 66.6 or take a wheel off my own car and measure for myself and get them done next week?

I can measure the 19's I have, they all cleaned up and stacked up in my garage?, just let me know?

Yes please that would be a great help do you have some digital verniers to do it with? Thank you :)

To be honest, you're probably better measuring your hub than the wheel if you're wanting a really good fit for your car. If you're looking to possibly sell them in the future then I'd just get them machined to 66.6 +0/-0.05 so they'd fit anyone's car after?

It's not that I'm after a really good fit I just want them to be identical to a genuine Audi wheel, that way if I do sell them, spigot rings can be used to downsize either back to 57.1 or whatever size is required. Also I wouldn't want to get them home and they be too small and have to go back for re doing lol
