Audi A4 B8 2008 2.0 tdi sline mpg dramtically reduced in last 2 weeks

Hello,

I bought a Audi a4 b8 2008 2.0 tdi sline about a month and a half ago.

everything was going great getting 350 miles for £50 odd

Now all of a sudden I am getting 250 miles for £50 odd

I think the fly wheel is on its way out but I wouldn't think it would effect mpg so bad.

I did smell a regen try the other day but I was pottering around town. Since then I have drove on the motorway anyway?

any ideas?
