Went to my local tyre place this morning to get some new fronts and was delighted to find out that the Vredesteins Sessanta's were on offer...

245/40/ZR18 97Y (XL ones) were £125 a corner fitted, that is £5 per tyre more than buying them direct from Camskill so well happy with that :)

So good in fact that the Pirelli's on the back are due in about 2-3k miles so I am gonna get the backs done at the same price next week as that is a saving of £70-£100 per pair on what I was expecting to pay.

One thing I noticed though is that for the 93Y ones (that were on the car) the tyre pressures I always put in 33front 30back (as per door sticker for normal load) but I noticed for the 97Y (although it lists it on sticker as 97V) the tyre pressures under normal load are 35front 33back

So to all you folks running the 97Y XL tyres, how are you getting on with 35front and 33back as far as even tyre wear etc?
