Hi, can anyone tell me why Audi have stopped selling the A4 2.0 177 tdi with the multitronic option? It is sold on the 143 tdi and on the 177 tdi quatro with s tronic. Just wondered as I have manage to find a 6 month old model with it on.

Someone might correct me but I believe Audi restructured and streamlined their A4 model line up in September 2012 and removed some models from the UK model line up. Included in the "cull" was the removal of the 136bhp Diesel and 2.0 TFSi manual variants, I can only assume the multitronic option was also removed from the 177 TDi at the same time.

Probably because of low sales volume of that variant.

they did remove it i managed to pick up one of the last 177s with stronic made thankfully
quatro is now only available on the 3.0tdi stronic as well just as a heads up
