What oil do people use ?

Hello,

What oil do you use in your car ?

I have been using Castrol Edge and Quantum.

There is nothing wrong with them, But i am just curious of what other people use and what is the best Performance Oil Brand for our Cars ?

Good, I have just bought a 4l Castrol Edge £30 which i didn't think was too bad, need to buy a large quantity as these 2.0 Tfsi Guzzle the oil when raced around town !
 
Opie oils are doing 4L and get a 1L topup with carry case free.

I normally get mine from them in bulk and give it to the dealer. It saves a load .... although not as much as when I ran my 4.2 S4! The needed over 8L of the stuff.

I've always gone with Mobil for what it's worth.
 
Edge/SLX 3 5w30 is a good oil & if you shop about you can find some decent deals too.
 
whats the difference between the edge and gtx castrol? need to top mine up and first time buying oil for this car
 
Check the Castrol website specs for rating, it maybe different beween the 2 & edge is the apparently premium oil best to use.
