What kind of engine oil to use

Can anyone tell me what grade of engine oil I need for my 2012 2.0tdi. Rang the dealer and they just said make sure it is fully synthetic. The handbook says, vw507 00 with DPF and vw505 01 without. ???? I have never seen anything like this written on a gallon of oil. Can someone translate this into English.
I suppose the fact I speak of gallons gives you some idea of when I last bought some oil

5w/30 which meets VW507.00 fully synthetic

You have a DPF so you need the 507.00

Get it from audi parts under the name of Quantum - it's Castrol edge but with a vag label.
