Hi there just wanted to know what the flaps underneath the car are for and are they important. My wife knocked and ripped the plastic bit that the flap was on (high hump on the drive) and later the flap and the broken plastic bit came completely off on the motorway.

Can I replace the area where it broke off?

Thanks for any help

where are they at on the car?

pics to their location?

Its between the rear wheels almost, sorry I haven't got the car now no pics. Usually there are three of them.

If I had to guess I'd say they're to reduce drag as they're just plastic flaps in front of areas that look like they may cause turbulence. Sounds like its the ones just in front of the diff and rear suspension you're talking about.

It won't be a massive issue I'd say...
