Driver's side door will not open from inside!!!

Please help! The driver's side door to my 2009 A4 will not open today from the inside. I can open it from the outside after crawling out from the passenger door. When I lock/unlock from the remote, the sounds sound normal and things are moving within the door. Except the signal lights inside blink twice when they usually don't when I unlock using the remote. The feel of the door handle from the inside is much less resistance than the other doors, feels like something is not pulling?? Also doesn't matter if I unlock using the remote or the buttons inside the door, door still will not open from inside. Help!!!

Either I'm having Deja vu or there seem to be a lot of door handles not working at the moment for a few people or am I missing something...................................:end_of_discction:

take the door card off and look ?

Interior, exterior handles & remote use a different mechanism to unlock, so do as Bez suggests, remove the door card & check the interior handle cable thats probably come unhooked.
