I've only had the car 4 weeks and its broken down yesterday for the 2nd time.
1st time limp mode and fault code P0104 EGR valve, Audi came out and it was showing fault code P0104 which I'm told is the EGR valve. They reset the car and I then took it in to the dealers to be fixed, only to be told they would not as it wasn't showing any fault codes and they couldn't get it to do it again. Not to happy but took it home.
It did it again yesterday, the car is full of shopping, kids etc. The car was recovered in to the dealers and was told a replacement car would be ready to collect today for me to use until mine is fixed, GREAT!! Taxi collects me from home this morning and we end up at Europcar. A nice A4 Avant is waiting, I check it over and sign the paperwork and was told I had to pay £200 deposit!! I have the cash on me but get told its got to be on a credit card. Why?? Cash is cash. I have no credit card, don't want or need 1, my debit card is the cheapest and best way to spend my money and they don't take debit cards, why not!?!?!?!?!?. I should not have to part with any cash for a car that Audi pay for!! I come away empty handed and not happy as I have work tomorrow and no transport.
I call my dealers and ask why I have to spend my money on a car to use when the cost should be Audi's. Still awaiting a call back an hour and a half since calling them. All I should have to do is show my license and drive away. I'm really not happy and work won't be either if I don't turn in tomorrow.
Anybody else had this problem??
