looking forward to my trip to REVO HQ tomorrow for the S4 remap,
looking forward to the 120mile return journey even more

2011 S4, Sprint Blue, Revo S1 map and SPS mode 4, APR Carbonio S2 Inlet, H&R supersport -30 springs, 19x8.5 et35 wheels, on order: AWE non-res full system, podi boost gauge
Let us know how you get on .
Do you get before and after rolling road graphs.
So is it as good as we are all hoping? How was your day?
it is like a different car, really eager acceleration, a harder edge to the exhaust note and now quite easy to hit the rev limiter in the first few gears, which seemed a long way off as power dropped off 1K before the redline in stock mode
I'm getting it dyno'd soon, the trip was to unlock the ECU so that my local tuner can do the fine tuning work,
they will use the SPS switch and the REVO software to fine tune it on the dyno as now for each program the fuel, throttle, ignition advance are then adjustable on a 0-9 scale.
car is now in mode 3 ( the individual level of each of the adjustable parameters is embedded in the map so I can't see what they are but I'm told not all on 9 as that would'nt drive very well) which is the Super unleaded setting as that's what I use,
there is also a 102 octane mode 4, which will be fun to try out on the dyno.
also I can turn off the new found power by setting it back to setting 1, then it goes right back to a standard S4
long trip but well worth it
thanks to the team at REVO, this is a great mod for this car

I wouldn't suggest running the 102RON mode without the right fuel otherwise it could start to knock like a bugger!
The Revo switch is brilliant for fine tuning, and I have 3 different custom settings in mine for:
1) Moderate / wet/ bad weather setting: (Boost 4 / Timing 5 / Fuelling 9)
2) bombing about day to day setting: (Boost 7 / Timing 5 / Fuelling 8)
3) track day / 100RON setting: (Boost 8 / Timing 6 / Fuelling 6)
I'd run 9 on setting 3, but excessive boost hits intake temps and I don't run intercooler. Depends on the other mods that you run as to what you're settings need to be, but an SPS is well worth it.
Just as a point of note the Revo code is £100 off and comes with free SPS (current deal at AmD), so if you've had it done very recently it might be worth chatting up your supplier and seeing if he can scam you a free SPS from Revo.
