Thread: do you think your steering wheel is a bit heavy ?

sorry i have soo many problems it's not funny....i feel my steeriing wheel is a bit heavy...i did go to the garage before with it and the fluid was empty and they filled it up again charged me 50quid but still feels a bit heavy...are they heavy iin general? or do i have a slight problem

Huh, B8 A4 has fluid, thought all Audi's were electric racks now, so no fluid involved.

Fluid on mine, not sure if it follows for all A4 though Nigel.

If you lost enough fluid for the reservoir to be empty then I'd suggest you have a problem and it would certainly be worth checking the level again.

Now thats very interesting, wonder if they've reverted because of so many racks with issues, especially on the 8P, going to do some research.

It might be more simple than that.

The A4/A5 has Longitudinal mounted engines.

Simple & Audi in 1 sentence, doesnt happen lol.

I've just got a two year old A4 Allroad and the steering is the heavy side of heavy! Had loads of Audi's (and others) but never had a car with power steering this heavy!
