Thread: Audi A4 2.0 TFSI Quattro b8 dynamik edition 11 reg remapping

Hello, i have just recently bought a new Audi A4 2.0 TFSI Quattro b8 dynamik edition and i am thinking of getting it remapped. if i get it remapped will it do any harm to the engine ? my engine is currently at 211 bhp but some people do it to 245 bhp and some do it to 272 bhp but which should i go for ? will i also get fuel economy for the 272 bhp ? where is the best place to get it remapped ? i live in Rochdale and i need a place close to Rochdale i am willing to travel about 40 miles . has anybody had any experience on remapping a 211 bhp ?

The answer is "it depends if they know what they're doing".

What does "best" mean?

Best price?
Best value?
Best peak bhp?
Best peak torque?
Best acceleration?
Best fuel consumption?

Generally I'd say stick with the big names.

You may well find your ECU is locked which will further complicate matters.

OK. A quick update. Superchips state they may or may not be able to remap the later 2011 AUDI A4 depends on engine code. APR can do it. REVO state that it can be done but only if the agent has the correct lead for the new style ECU otherwise the ECU must be rmoved and sent to REVO. They state 305hp but this is PEAK performance. I am planning to rolling road before and after a REVO remap (Wallace Performance Aberdeen). Wish me luck.

just had s race with an s3 against my remapped dynamik, stopped at lights and hammered the s3 up the slip road and carried on along the motorway the s3 was miles back i really did kik its @ss :P i bet he is thinking what is that without an s badge ? he was sick as a dog !

it mighta just been the 1.6 TDi version :-)

Nice figures considering the car is using a k03 turbo, the variable cam seems to allow for alot more torque. i'd love to see a rolling road print out to see torque against rpm.
