Just wanted a couple of point's clarified if someone could help please!

I have had my 07 A4 140 TDi remapped & now have a couple of niggles
1/ i have a slight miss around 2500-3000 rpm ( been told poss EGR valve issue), should i replace of go for a removal Kit??

2/ first gear is still pretty poor (torque reduction) can this be removed to feel like a normal 1st gear?

Also MPG is down to low 30's from high 30's round town, no black smoke from car.
