About LinkBacksin the process of buying my 1st audi, a 58 plate a4 but the warranty runs out aug, due an mot sept but needs its 3 yr service in august too? how big is this and what kind of cost should i be expecting?

Check if it is running Variable Servicing (AVS) or Fixed Interval.
With the variable you can get up to 20k between services depending on how you drive.
Mine's a 58 plate TDi s on variable -
1st AVS, 18,800 miles - £250 inc parts and VAT
2nd AVS, 37,400 miles - £230 inc parts and VAT
3rd AVS, 56,000 miles - £250 inc parts and VAT
4th AVS, 75,000 miles - £280 inc parts and VAT
Here's the biggy...
Cam-belt, front discs and pads 76,000 miles - £750 including parts and VAT
This is all at a main dealer. Shop about, they charge different prices - I'm sure you can get it done cheaper than this if you have the energy (mine is leased).
