A4 Avant 2.0TDI 170 Black Edition Has Landed!

Hi All,

Took delivery of my 2011 A4 Avant 170 Black Edition in Ibis white yesterday. I have to admit i had reservations about the colour (but didnt want a black one as my last A4 was black). Have to say im very pleased with it!

Not the best pics as the light was fading fast, will sort some better ones in daylight!

Very pleased with it. Must admit i did love my Phantom Black B7, 2.0TFSI Quattro (220) Special Edition, but i had had it for 3 years and fancied a change! The diesel surprised me, in terms of performance but looking to get it remapped in the next week or so. Got my first Mod (Needles Sweep) done in the first hour of ownership lol!

To answer Keef's question, i personally ordered Mid Jan, but the car was a stocking order for Poole Audi. They had the order in since Nov. They were quoting me August for a "personal" build! Madness!

With reference to your remap, doesnt that void your warranty?

Technically if the fault is down to the remap itself. My local Stealer is pretty "Tuner Friendly". I'm looking at remapping options at the moment, but have a good friend who runs a VAG Specialist and does Revo. They do a lot of remaps onsite for Poole Audi so it shouldnt be a major problem.

Build date is still estimated as week 21, hoping for delivery some time in June but not holding my breath!

Thankfully, I have a two week holiday mid May so will be too busy eating, drinking and sightseeing to be thinking about the delivery date (I hope)!
